Who we are.
Rushcliffe Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club established in 2025 by BJJ black belt Tom Spibey. Located in Gamston Community Hall, West Bridgford, the hall is located just off the roundabout next to Morrisons supermarket in Gamston. Easily accessible from Gamston Lings Bar Road off the A52.

Tom Spibey has been practising Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2012 and received his black belt in 2022. He has extensive coaching experience and a competition background having competed at the highest level in BJJ across the country as well as internationally. Accomplishments include multiple British titles and competing in the European Championships in Lisbon.
Tom now looks to share his knowledge of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with students ranging from complete beginners to advanced practitioners in his home county of Nottinghamshire.
